Pathways to Professions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to developing and support career ladder programs that help people select a professional career and complete the studies needed for certification even if they are working adults.

The best way to decide on a profession is to check it out as completely as possible before investing a lot of time and money. This includes learning what people in that profession do on a daily basis and what they did to qualify. The pathway to many professions is not simple or clear. There is always education leading to certification and there may be many different types of certification that can be obtained in many different ways.

Pathways to Professions was established to assist members of the community in deciding on a profession and then providing a clear pathway of education and experience. At this point hte organization is acting as a clearinghouse of information. As it grows, it will engage in projects to such as academic advisement, internships, job shadowing, mentorships, volunteer opportunities, and career ladders.
